Every organisation carries a story, of its beginnings, challenges, and transformations. For Junaya Aboriginal Corporation, our story is one of strength, adaptation and service.
Junaya’s journey began with a vision: to support families through change, crisis and growth. Over time, it became a cornerstone for connection and safety across Western Sydney. Now, under Aboriginal community ownership, Junaya stands stronger — guided by self-determination, accountability and culture. You’ll find our early history in the Annual report section 2003-2004 Blacktown Aboriginal Corporation and Swinson Cottage Family Centre reports.
Junaya is a family centre that can assist Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander families with healing programs, case management, family plans, parenting programs, and education and training.
