We are so proud to welcome Kim Naden as the new Chief Executive Officer of Junaya Aboriginal Corporation.
Kim is a proud Weilwan woman from Central West NSW, raised on Wiradjuri Country, with strong family and cultural connections to Kamilaroi Country through her grandmother and family ties.
Coming from a strong matriarchal family connected through the Naden, Reid, Weldon, Goolagong, Fernando and Morgan families, Kim has always carried culture, kinship and community at the centre of everything she does.
For the past 25 years Kim has lived and worked on Darug Country, while staying strongly connected to both her Mother’s and Father’s Country in Western NSW through family and community.
Kim brings more than 25 years experience working alongside Aboriginal communities across government and community sectors, with a strong focus on advocacy, relationships, justice, policy and creating real change for our people.
Kim is deeply passionate about supporting Aboriginal children, families and communities through culturally safe, community-led approaches that value identity, lived experience and connection.
Kim believes in walking alongside community, listening, learning and building stronger outcomes together, and we are incredibly excited for what this next chapter means for Junaya and the communities we work with.
